Welp.. big day for me Thursday morning. Our maiden voyage with the burb (aka Tilly from my 5 year old daughter who’s obsessed with Big City Greens) and our 28ft TT.

Our trip changed from a 2.5hr drive from Northern IL to the Wisconsin dells to ~6hr drive to northern MI.

Id be a lying if I said I say wasn’t nervous. Partially because I’ll have the wife, 3 daughters and two bullmastiffs in the truck.

Wish me luck and I’ll report back, hopefully when we’re back w/o issue.

How do you define northern MI? Coming from the WI side I suspect it's my definition i.e. the correct one.

Well, not the UP all though that’s on the list. I suppose more mid-state.

That's southern northern MI. Coulda so made it to northern northern MI in 6 hours. I'm curious what the attraction was where you went? I really haven't looked at that particular area to camp.

Sold my old Troy-Bilt, decided I preferred using my in-laws Husqvarna rider since it's more stable on the slopes around my property. Hauled the Troy-Bilt to the guy who bought it and hauled the Husqvarna back to my in-laws.

Debating on swapping converters since a friend of a friend has a good B82 he pulled from a Suburban, my only concern is having to pull the trans. What's the consensus? Do it or wait until I have the coin for a rebuild? The latter is probably easier but I'm still in the camp of the former.

I put a converter in the plow truck along with input/output seals, new GM pan gasket, and filter. All seems well.
