Thanks!
Did the seats come in the truck when you bought it? The material on them looks great!!
Yes they did. They're in great shape, I just wish they had head rests. My guess is that they came out of a Tahoe or extra cab truck. The driver seat is power, but I have not ventured into wiring it up yet. When I have to move it I use a power tool battery and some jumper clips...

Tonight I ran wires for the powered sub, and made and painted a bracket to hold 2 amplifier power fuses under the hood. I'll add a second amp eventually, when I replace the head unit. I need to figure out if I'm going to mount the sub facing forward or facing the back of the cab. Will probably put it on the drive side. Also need to figure out where I'm going to mount the volume controller for the sub. We'll see what happens tomorrow night.

Got the powered sub install wrapped up tonight. All I have left to do is vacuum the carpet inside.

Here's some pics:

Note the 2 fuses. Eventually I'll add another amp for the other 4 speakers. I have an old ADS PQ10 that I haven't used in a long time.

Took the truck to the store to get some smokes on my lunch break (working from home is awesome). Sitting in traffic with the AC blasting and the radio cranked up, it never got over 206 degrees F and has 18 lbs. of oil pressure at that temperature (we'll say hot idle). Love driving this thing. It's hard to keep my foot out of it (when traffic allows) with that Salute muffler and tail pipes on it! :driver:

How’s that powered sub sound? I’ve been looking at them for my company truck.
It's not real strong, but I didn't really expect to be bringing the thunder with the size of the enclosure. It definitely makes up for the bass that those Pioneer 4X6 speaks lack though, and that's what I wanted. With a built-in amp it was one of the easier subs I've installed. The hardest thing about installing it was that the previous owner had the carpet glued to the sound deadener, which made it tough to run the wires under the carpet on the floor.

That’s an excellent feeling! I’m excited for you. :banana-mario:

I put a S/O powered sub in a truck at work. Mostly just using it for bottom end fill but it’s enough to rattle the sliding window lol

And for the price, I was really pleased with their 6x8s. Put 2 sets in the same truck and another in my dads.

I like those. I can hide it under my seat and tie into the 0 gauge wiring the outfitters used to wire in the power inverter. We kinda got our hands slapped for modifying our work trucks. So it has to be work related now.
