Hello, what about without the c notch?
Unpossible. There's very little suspension travel between the axle and frame when you do the flip kit. The notch is 100% required. It seems to be what everyone is afraid of, yet thousands and thousands of them have been done. Sure, it's easy to mess it up if you're not careful, but on the other hand it's also not hard to do correctly.

Welcome! Cool truck! Another teal metallic :Moon:

4" out back would be shackles and hangers and that's where you'll hate life because getting the rivets out of the factory hangers, and bolting in the new ones, sucks.
^^ can confirm. You’re not gonna have a good time. I’ll never do hangers again.

Hello, what about without the c notch?
Only 4 inches…

Only way to keep the frame completely factory would be 2” drop shackles in the rear, as the spring hangers are riveted.

Notch the frame and be happy with your lowered dually. :headbang:

Tks guys will work on it...will see how make it cool. Appreciate all comments and ideas. Cant wait to make it down...
Eh; think about how you really intend to use the truck before you commit to any plan of action. I dropped mine 5/8 static because I just wanted a fun cruiser and I don't care about MPG. If I did, it'd be a 1500 with a 5.7 instead of a 3500 with a 7.4.. if I wanted to tow with it, I'd have a taller notch, and helper bags.

My old dually, 4/6 drop if I remember correctly. It wasn’t a kit, i pieced it together from used parts from other builds.

Nice looking truck you’re starting with.

Too bad you weren’t closer, I have a set of DJM 3” coils I’d donate to your project but shipping would crazy I’m sure. I put in a set of 1500 coils up front after swapping engines. The new one is waaay lighter than the old 454
