Should be fine, shift schedule might seem off, but the truck will just think it's going the speed your speedometer says.
Shift schedule is based on throttle position and Mph, so it should shift the same rpm as it has been. Once you calibrate it, it might be different.

What means of calibration do you have?
I just sent it in to Black Bear Performance for a "traditional tune" and update with my tire size and gear ratio.
The ABS light has been on since the speedo and wheel speed sensors have been so far off. Speedo was about 15 mph high at 75 mph after changing from 3.73 to 4.56.

Yeah that's a pretty big change. Almost a full rotation. I don't think that's the cause of abs though. Might need to check codes when you get it back together.

i have not heard anything about seafoam opening leaks but don't be afraid of the smoke. i always put some right down the TBI and some in the hose on the brake booster. and about the smoke, i have seen some that barely smoke and others that smoke soo much that once you are done you can't see the car anymore but i have always had good resultsll

Seafoam is for what I've been told is a water based formula anyway I don't know if that's true but it dose work pretty well just pull a vac line and pour about 1/4 of the content in if she stalls stop and start the motor my self I do front and back of manifold when your done fogging the motor shut it down immediately and let her sit and soak about 5min or so then drive down the street with the neighbors you like the least lol Mystery oil is great stuff also

I suppose this question falls here.

I am putting a 305 from a 1994 C1500 into my 1994 S10. The engine did not come with the purge solenoid. Where exactly does the purge solenoid bolt to on the intake? Is there a bracket it clips to or do the new solenoids come with the bracket to mount them? Any pictures would be extremely helpful.

Thanks!

Alright so my truck (93 c1500) has been stalling every day for the past few months… it only happens while coming to a stop light, reversing or any low idle/ rpm situation. I’ve done some research on other forums and looked around alldata and shopkeypro, unsure if it is a bad ECM or a fuel filter. I’m turning to you all to please help and have already ruled out the spark plugs/ wires and the coil pack already as they were replaced later last year. Is there any way to fix this? Almost 180k and I am assuming it may be just due to the engine being so old and unrebuilt/ age of the PT. Please advise

Check for vacuum leaks. Also, does it only stall when your foot is on the brake? Your brake booster may be leaking vacuum.

I’m using a screw and wire to adjust my idle without messing with the computer
