Valve and emissions house routing

Purchased a used 5.7 TBI motor and transmission from a guy who said motor and tranny had aboug 25000 miles but job was done about 12-13 years ago. pretty clean setup but after taking exahust manifold off looked valves looked a little rusty. Can i spray these down with pb blaster or should i leave them be? Motor was from North Carolina but fluids were all defnitely pretty dirty. Motor turns and seems to have decent compression.

Also looking for a detailed emissions diagram for pcv -egr etc.

What are doing with it? Installing in truck? What , year, make model? Does the vehicle have the emissions, vacuum hose routing decals on the radiator support?
