Brake booster rod adj.

I'm replacing the vacuum brake booster on my 99 obs C2500. The new booster had two paper tag attached, one said," warranty void if you master cyl. leaks, the other said, " rod may need adjustment. I've read there is no adjustment on this year or series of trucks and can't see any way to adjust the rod length.

I measured several times and trimmed my actuator rod long. Assembled and double checked everything. Had to trim about .050" more off of it to get the master cylinder plunger to return and have a little slack in the rod to not interfere with it.
