That looks cool. I am impressed that you are trying new things and learning along the way, you are getting far more out of this experience than just a cool truck.
Thank ya! I can’t agree more, I’m having a blast just figuring stuff out as I go (although my bank account isn’t). This whole project is taking way longer than expected but I still think it’s worth it in the long run due to a plethora of learned skills I can use for the rest of my life.

awesome truck man!! any chance itll be at Battle in Bama at Talledega? love to see it in person!
Thank you, I’ve been trying my best to get it ready in time but as per usual life just keeps getting in the way and I’m not gonna rush it just for one show. All the suspension is done minus welding the pushrods. The fenders are nearly done but I still have a lot more sanding to get the body work straight. I still need to make mounts for the ABS module/fuse box/yaw sensor which I will work on today. Then I need brake lines/mount rear wheel speed sensors/wiring for a few things/finish rebuilding AC system(all parts replaced and need to flush/vacuum/recharge it). I’m sure im forgetting 10 different smaller things and it all adds up quick.

Set the truck down and the front end was a bit stiffer than I had anticipated. I guess I went a bit overkill on the front end weight ballpark when I did suspension calculations. This is without the front diff/transfercase/axles so that will definitely help but since those will not be installed for a while, I came up with an upgrade to solve the issue, an adjustable cantilever. I’m not sure if this is the final design, I need to stare at it for a bit and try to foresee any issues before I send it off to get cnc plasma cut. It allows me to adjust the motion ratio from 0.7:1 to 1:1. Effectively giving me adjustable spring rate. The current cantilever is 0.7:1. Currently brake lines are one of the only things stopping me from driving the truck but I do want get my new AC system installed before I drive it.
