Whining alternator on my ‘94

Here's the one I got. The bolt spacing is close to correct, and will fit with some grinding to one of the mounting holes, as others have reported:

If you buy the incorrect one, for a car, you will see what this picture shows.

The diagram shows the two different mounting hole schemes; narrow for truck, wide for cars.

I’m the guy that started this post about the whine. Does new setup have any whine?
