Hello, is there a way to access transmission temp in a 1995 K2500 via the PCM/TCM? Would like to monitor temp, but don't want to cut a cooler line just for a sensor. Any other options? Thank you.

Should be able to read transmission temp with a scanner that has that option.Hello, is there a way to access transmission temp in a 1995 K2500 via the PCM/TCM? Would like to monitor temp, but don't want to cut a cooler line just for a sensor. Any other options? Thank you.
Sorry, should have specified a signal for a gauge. ODB1 is useless.Should be able to read transmission temp with a scanner that has that option.
Get a sensor and gauge, install the sensor in the side of the trans or weld a bung in the pan, wire it up you're good to goshould have specified a signal for a gauge. ODB1 is useless.
My 93 reads transmission temp fine on the scanner? But yeah, if you mean the sensor could be goofy, I'd believe that....Sorry, should have specified a signal for a gauge. ODB1 is useless.
