TH400 strange park pawl issue.

Short update:

Parking rod / linkage has been replaced and that solved the problem! Found the rod on ebay for $18. Got an extra just in case!

You can't see this issue with the park pawl bracket on, so if you're ever stumped while trying to restore park functionality, pull those 2 5/16's bolts and check the plunger on your park rod assembly. It only takes a few minutes and is VERY easy to replace. When removing the parking rod simply put the transmission in neutral to make room to remove the rod, and install the new one. The transmission MUST be in neutral to remove it. It will look like there's not enough room to clear the rooster, but there is. Remove the single pin connector on your speed sensor and allow the rod to hang straight down towards the ground and it will slip right out.
