Just some question - I did not make separate thread in Performance section on the 454 build but have some serious challenge due to CompCams stock levels.
I decided to renovate front of the Chevy when waiting for Comp Cams - ordered on Jegs. Jegs did indicate 24h shipment from the supplier - that was a false info.

So have no cam that I ordered maybe till October.... so it will arrive to Europe - November 2024. Sic :(

My setup was to be for now just to put engine back together:

Comp Cams 01-414-08
Valve springs - Comp Cams
Lifters - new stock replacement
Pushrods - stock
Rockers / Studs - stock
Timing set for single roller (cannot remember the brand) -4deg 0 deg +4deg - to use stock balancer / stock timing cover
FPR - new adjustable type AEM
Injectors new Bosch type - 19lbs
Hearers - long tube set Petronix
EGR - delete (due to headers)
Porting of stock intake - as shown on GMT400
Heads - stock
I have my own HPTuners and AFR wideband to be connected (but really no experiance :( )
Exhaust with cat but real dual with active flaps (normal / hi flow routing)
Fuel I can use in Europe is 95 octane with E10 that is in USA is named 91 octane
I will still use Black Box. 0411 is a plan but first lets start this rig

Engine is a 160.000miles with 170-175PSI compression with no mechanical issues, no oil consumptions, with catalitic converters so I will keep stock heads (no porting)

And I have specific questions to experts in 454 and tune:
What other CAM I can use
for my build that. I got free advice to use CompCams - (01-414-08) due to max lift 0,510 that will assure no collision. Reuse of pushrods and rockers - stock.
Can i use to my setup heads / pistons
Chevy Performance
12366543 Steel hydraulic roller I: 224 / E: 234 I: .527 / E: .544 110
or
24502611 Steel hydraulic roller I: 211 / E: 230 I: .510 / E: .540 112

Because it is on stock :)

Guys whatever I order there is no way back for me to return or replace parts. I have to pay sh.. load for transport and customs (imagine it cost 2X) - and there will be no one to resell parts if they will not be a good match locally.

@Supercharged111 / @L31MaxExpress - can I ask you for some help about the cam?

On Summit I can get - they are on stock. Then I will cancel my Jegs Comp Cams 01-414-08

Question no. 1
12366543 Steel hydraulic roller I: 224 / E: 234 I: .527 / E: .544 110
or
24502611 Steel hydraulic roller I: 211 / E: 230 I: .510 / E: .540 112

Which one will do the work?
Please remember that I do have automatic and I do not consider to change converter.

Question no. 2
What from above setup will not work or can be problematic with my setup

Q no. 3
Are the stock pushrods ok to work with new cam?

Q no. 4.
Is my timing set gona to work if I put it for 0deg. Will be that compatible with stock timing cover and stock balancer?

Q no. 5
In Europe there is a quite ok dealer for Edelbrock- shulould I consider to look for valvetrain components this way?

PS.
Why I am asking s many questions - it is my first real US V8 and first time I am using - inches / lbs / foots / Summit / Jegs / Hp Tuners / customs / not always got English wording correctly

That second cam is the GM 454HO cam. I went with a 212/218 cam myself, it drives like stock. I would imagine the extra exhaust duration would sacrifice some low end for some top end. Are you intending to tune this setup? The only way to be sure on pushrod length is to measure.

454HO and Base 502 cam. Recomeend springs and pushrod length needs to be checked. I personally would convert to an adjustable valvetrain as well. Seemed to help low-end torque on the 8100 with headers. If it lost anything it was under the converter stall speed. I do not lug my engines as low as you do though. I have my shift patterns setup to downshift the transmission to pull the engine out of high load situations at lower rpm.
