Put in a new starter and got it running but my ignition is all jacked the piece of dash under column is gone, the shifter comes off in my hand when put in park . None of the interior lighting functions. The receiver for the towing is gone and wires back there were cut so all I have is headlights. I'll probably have to replace the column and want to know -
What's the newest column that will work in a '96?
Also my seats got trashed...stuff spilled all over them. Saw the bucket seat conversion thread and was gonna see if I can adapt some seats out of an E39 chassis BMW 540i I have.
Anyway I got my work cut out for me. If there's stuff I should know about more robust columns or security please let me know
