I have a 1997 C1500 2wd standard cab.

I installed DJM 2" drop spindles, 2" hangers, and 2" shackles.

I think I'd be happier if the rear were about an inch lower.

Are there any options out there?

Flip kit with a C-notch and shackle to raise it back up where you want it?
Some weight on the back?

If you go any lower without a C-notch, you are going to be riding on your bumpstops or smashing the axle into the frame.

Depending on how you use the truck you can remove a leaf from the pack. It could be possible someone added a leaf at some time, count how many leafs are in your pack and compare to other gmt400s

If you have the 3+1 leaf pack, you can't remove a leaf and still haul a trailer. Also, I have a pair of 2+1 spring packs if anybody wants them.
