Lookin for headers for the 4.3L. What has everyone found?

No offence but I wouldn’t really consider mid 12s to be fast but each to thier own

If your talking a race car, on the quarter mile track, then I deferentially agree. 12s is not fast at all, but for a street, daily driver 12s is pretty quick. Especially when the car only ran in the 15s originally. And no offense taken. I love my Corvette no mater what. It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. There are people who don't like the later C-3s at all, but personally I wanted a 78 or 79. I like the long back window. It is a fun toy, to drive on the street. If you like these cars, that's grate, if you don't , that's fine too. Like you said, to each his own.

All good points, it’s a nice car and your right there are lots my expensive vehicles that run 13s or slower.

They'll be a diamond in a goat's butt. If you want performance, step up to a 350. Otherwise enjoy your 4.3 for what it is, and don't try to make it what it ain't.

I've been using that term for about thirty years now. It's the best metaphor for that situation.
