K2500 tow ratings

I tried searching the forum and couldn’t find the official GM specs so I apologize if this has already been answered. I have a 1994 K2500 Suburban 7.4 TBI with 8 lugs and 4.10 gears. I have searched in the past and found on the internet that people state my truck is rated to tow anywhere from 8k to 12klbs. That is a big variation. No idea what the official rating really is. Looking to replace my truck with something with less rust but really love the 92-99 style Suburban. Still want 4x4 which I know has a lower rating than 2wd. Are all these year trucks the same tow rating with the 7.4 8 lug wheels and 4.10 gears and 4x4? Looking at a 1999 truck and wondering what the official tow specs are. Thank you
