Hi y’all, I have a 94 K1500, replacing front hub bearings.

Need to replace the stupid bolts, they rounded off, and I did manage to get them out by hammering a smaller 12 pt socket.

Questions:

1. What thread size are these bolts?
2. I see online they sell “hub bolts” and they’re crazy expensive. Can I just use any grade 8 flange bolt? They’re so much cheaper.

That’s what I need to know the thread pitch and size for.

Thanks!

Also they wouldn’t be delivered until the end of the week, don’t really have the time to wait for them.

Think this would work with washers?

Not sure if enough of it is threaded.

Other than availability.
But if you can find them locally, go for it.

Something that’s weird, I don’t have the style of bolt you sent, I have this style.
