yes they are great sonic electronix is pretty good as well for that stuff

Well It looks like I completely missed this post. I've never heard of sonic electronix before. Just had a look and while IMO the web site is not as slick as Crutchfield it mostly is just different. First choices they gave me were all touch screen units which would look out of place in my truck. Had to do a little searching to find a more traditional unit. I'll doing a little more looking there.

Now to get the property taxes and car insurance out of the way.....

IMO Crutchfield is one of the best places to do research as their fitment guides are generally on point, but SonicElectronix has been around for a long time and they are a legit seller with generally low prices. I'd find what you need from Crutchfield, then price check by model number elsewhere like SonicElectronix. I saved a decent amount of money doing this in the early 2000s building a few systems.
