EGR tube - 7.4

I guess dorman makes an EGR tube for the big blocks now. Stolen from FB. Will it be a good product or will be a Dorman product?

I'm with you, the Dorman name always leaves me suspicious - but if your Vortec 7.4 EGR tube is wrecked, I'd try the Dorman and hope for the best.

A couple folks in that thread bought the Dorman and it seems to be OK.

Oops, I tried doing a search but only found threads asking where to buy a new one and everyone saying NLA.

Let’s just hope it’s better than the TBI valve cover breather tube/elbow they make. Garbage.

My Auto Zone shows it can be ordered.

I see it on ebay and amazon at the moment. Runs about $70, though several ebay sellers are asking more.

This looks to be the EGR tube used on the '96+ Vortec 7.4 (454). I just double checked the Dorman
website, and this is what I found:

Maybe one of the resident TBI gurus will step in and point you in the right direction.

Could you maybe post a pic of the part/area of engine that you need this part for? A TBI 454 doesn't use this particular EGR tube (or any EGR tube.)
