I found this clutch bleed procedure on the web. It seems to be pretty well written and clear. Why Chevy went to this system I can't imagine
as it is so cumbersome. But it probably had something to do with reducing manufacturing costs, at the owners expense. Check it out.

How to Bleed Slave Cylinders WITHOUT Bleed Screws | Phoenix Friction
Some slave cylinders are manufactured without a bleed screw to purge air. If the slave cylinder has a gold allen screw, do not remove or loosen it. This set screw is not intended to be used for bleeding purposes. The proper bleeding procedures for slave cylinders without bleed screws is as follows:
