Hi, can someone tell me if there are any differences between the suburban and c1500 rear bumpers for 88-93 years.
Direct fit?
(I did a search couldn't find an answer)
Thanks!

The suburban changed body styles, 1992 was the first year of the round OBS body, previous to that the suburban was still the square body style.

As far as I know, the 92-99 Burb and 88-98 pickup rear bumpers are the same. Biggest difference I've seen, is the Suburban doesn't use the little hole next to the license plate, where the tool goes to drop the spare tire on a pickup (Burb spare is inside the cargo area).

Same rear bumper as a pickup, as long as you don't have a stepside bed.

Bumper bolts directly to the ends of the frame rails on a Suburban, and the outer brackets are different than a pickup.

Like Richard said, bumpers are bumpers are bumpers with the exception of the stepside and brackets.

OE brackets fit better off the jump than aftermarket. Aftermarket require more pushing, pulling, tweaking to fit perfectly.
