1996 K2500 Sub L29 454 Hesitation off idle

I am not seeing any knock sensor readings when this happens, could it be retarding timing for an instant? anyway to delete knock sensors for testing this theory? thanks

Timing has to briefly retard on tip-in to prevent spark knock. I would be looking at torque management settings.
