Gave up on the Ram bed cover, as I found out the Ram bed is tapered and gets wider towards the cab. Ordered a new tri-fold cover.

Also trimmed the ears on the TH400 for it'll fit around the longtube headers, without having to remove them to remove / install the transmission.

Went ahead and bolted the transmission bench tool to the bench and mounted the TH400, this thing is life changing.

Spent some time going through the rear axle, yesterday. This was all over a leaky axle seal.

Figured while I was in there, might as well do everything.

Pictures continued. Did axle bearings, axle seals, pinion seal, installed a locking differential.

Who'd have thought 400,000 mile axle bearings would be a chore to remove? Even with the correct slide hammer.

It's hilarious, that we do this stuff for fun.

So, I haven't done **** to this truck.

But did recently buy a 2024 Ram 2500 with a 6.7 Cummins.

Also picked up this 98 ECSB 1500, today.

350/AUTO, PW, PL, Factory 3rd door, bucket seat truck, sport wheels to boot. Only has 150k.

Point blank, GM doesn't build a good quality late model truck, I refuse to buy anything from them ever again. :Big Laugh:

They haven't since the GMT800. No argument. I don't do new...period. Honestly on the hunt for a K20/K2500 squarebody Suburban to build for my next driver. Thinking 8.1l or custom 400sbc COP build.

**and it's too bad Toyota didn't make a 3/4T or bigger rig.
