    aside from this spark issue, yes, I found that the times she really sounded like she was going to catch and fire up was when I held the pedal to the floor. Where this thing hasn't been driven in quite a while I think I have a few gremlins I'm chasing lol

    Spark tester hasn't shown up yet, but I did a compression test and it went as follows: 2 170 4 170 6 170 1 175 3 175 5 175 The passenger side did get a touch above 170 (maybe the width of the gauge needle) All the new plugs I put in, all looked the same. A little sooted up that's about it...

    Pretty sure I'll focus on just dropping the tank, it looks like you can drop it and leave the forward bracket in place. If I can possibly do that and there's enough slack in the lines to pivot the tank out - that's the route I'll take and pray the strap bolts survive or maybe I only have to cut...

    I've actually gone back n forth on lifting box vs dropping tank and reading past threads (that you were part of in some lol), the bed bolts are probably not the nicest either. Might try a couple just to see if they want to play nice. I would be amazed if I didn't mangle the tank brackets/straps...

    I tried at the wires just before they go up top to the pump, unfortunately forgot about the ground side. My head was elsewhere being pressed for time to finish packing everything up and now I'm back home to handle a few things here (4hrs away from the truck) I will definitely be going back up...

    I have damn near 12 volts to the pump (11.XX), I can even hear it turn on with accessories for a few seconds, PSI still shows 0.

    That's a neat trick with the timing light on the injector during the night, I don't have a timing light here unfortunately but I will check this top plate in the near future.

    Yeah she has about 3/8ths of a tank in her. I reached my hands up around the top of the pump and the ground seems secure and in good shape. Of course with everything getting packed up with the move there's no test light around but I do have this multimeter below if I can figure out how to use...

I did replace the fuel filter, got fuel pressure gauge set up, my pump isn't even priming anymore (stays at 0 psi) and even under hard cranking, stays at 0 psi.     Yup - in a later post I mentioned I already changed all that and she fired up, they definitely made a difference. Seems to be a remaining fuel issue right now from what I can tell so far.

    I cut out the fuel filter, dumped some of the fuel into a firepit and it caught fire/burned easily and quickly when a lighter was put next to it so I think the fuel is good. Hooked up the fuel pressure gauge and it sits at 10 psi during hard crank. edit: maybe I spoke too soon because the...
