    Best deep muffler for 5.7

Looking for mufflers on a 5.7 that are deep and have little to no (preferably no) drone. I saw Thrush Welded chambered, Flowmaster 40 (but I hear they have a droning problem). Is there a good option fitting my list?

    1998 k2500 5.7 head gasket worry

I found a 98 k2500 for sale and the previous owner put head gaskets on it just a few weeks ago, and I’m worried he’s just trying to do some cheeky patchwork to sell it. I heard these vortec heads are prone to cracking. I really love the truck and want to purchase it but I don’t want to have a...

    Lift kit for a 98 k2500 questions

I tried to look at BDS and skyjacker with no luck. BDS only sells for 6 lug 2500s and not the 8 luggers. Skyjacker doesn’t make a complete kit. So that’s why I was looking at the RCD lift I sent because they use bilstein shocks, and looks pretty high quality and does fit the truck. I just don’t...

    Lift kit for a 98 k2500 questions

I posted earlier asking about piecing together a lift kit for a 1998 Chevrolet K2500 with the 8 lug hubs. I was thinking about piecing it together because I had 0 findings of lift kits for this year and it being an 8 lug. This was the ONLY one I found for a 98, k2500, 8 lug...

    98 K2500 suspension

There's two kits I am looking at. First one is a skyjacker kit, which would be a very nice kit but that shows in the pricing. Then there's a company down in Mississippi that custom builds kits for 98 k2500s with the bilstein shocks I was looking at. I don't know the pricing on that one but it...

    98 K2500 suspension

I was looking at lifting a k2500 and I have a question about what is all needed. My problem is I DO NOT want a Rough Country kit. Is it possible to piece together a lift by myself for a 5-6 inch lift? What parts do you recommend? What is necessary?
