Right now I'm running a "stage 2" 700R4 advertised to handle 600 HP with a 2500 stall converter. We'll see how long it holds up. Then maybe I'll go with something like @L31MaxExpressWhat did you do transmission wise to handle that motor?

Nice! sounds great too! My trans is already starting to slip from 2nd to 3rd Trying to decide if I want to build a 4l60 or put a 80 in it.4L85E with a custom built converter and Sonnax shift kit and a GM 10.5 FF 14-bolt with 3.73 gears. Its not the fastest thing in the world with nearly 7,000 lbs of van wrapped around it, but it does move out decently for what it is. It makes decent power up to 6,200 but I only shift it at 5,500 for longevity reasons.

$$$$ but work great. Ran a 48# set on E85 for a while before swapping back to a marine intake. The stock truck intake manifold is the only option to get one of these engines through the visual emissions inspection. If they connect to the VCM/PCM most state emissions tests are scanning for aftermarket tuning though so that could end that.I’ve been curious of FiveO Motorsports Spider Injectors
