So my AC stopped working and I noticed the compressor clutch wasn’t engaging. Jumped the wire for the low pressure switch and it turned on, so I replaced the switch and recharged the system. With the new switch and recharge, the clutch is still not engaging on its own.

Where should I look next? I’m so tired of chasing this gremlin in the summer heat…

With the switch jumped is the air cold?

As 95burban asked is air cold ? Reason for asking year 1 wire ( round terminal) or 2 wire (square terminal) most likely you have lost tension on wire terminals and probably used something larger than these terminal sizes to jump circuit, if this is correct then you will either need to r&r terminals from connector to retention them (2wire) or single wire squeeze round terminal in connector as a lot of times this wire is molded in and nearly impossible to r&r, or you will have to replace connectors with pigtails with new ones.

It was low on 134 also the Schrader valve stem on the low side port was not seated fully . Changed it pulled a vaccum charged system and all is good now
