This may already be out there but just in case it’s not… I just had the Rough Country 6inch lift installed on my 1999 K2500 Crew Cab Short Bed. I bought the kit from Rough Country directly. Once installed I had a violent vibration at initial take off. It turns out the kit is not for crew cab short beds (Rough Country does not designate short / long bed, however my short bed has the factory 454.). It’s for crew cab long beds, extended cab long bed. So after many calls to Rough Country Customer Service they were nice but unable to help, My guy did the math and with some trial and error, cut the cross member supporting the carrier barring in the rear and lowered it by 2 inches. This corrected the driveline angle and Completely eliminated the vibration at take off. Hope this helps someone else who may have this problem.

Hey brother, check your driveline angle with a digital angle finder. Pinion angle and output shaft flange should be within 5° of each other.
I'd start there and try and shim the difference if it's off before cutting anything.

Jumping in on this thread , I just took some digital angle findings on my spindle and block lifted 99 suburban
Can you give insight if I'm within range on my pinion angle . Trying to sum up a slight vibration I have which so far is 3 bad steel wheels I got from jegs smh .. so I thought no better time then to do process of elimination.
I calibrated the finder with and on a level

Top and bottom of rear yoke rear 870°

Do I need shims under the blocks
Wasn't sure the allowance. I'm trying to be pretty precise, to alleviate vibrations if there are any from the drive line btw the u-joints are solid and the rear and is In spec no real bad play
This is just merely to know my angles are within range from the lift blocks
