That’s certainly true. I don’t mind some imperfections. It is a truck after all and used as such. However, if something can be fixed and made better, I’ll give it a go. That’s when my perfectionism takes over, though.
I can understand that, as I am just the same.

Next up is a full front end rehab with new bumper impact strip, new license plate bracket, new valance, new turn signal lenses, and repainted tow hooks.

I didn’t know he was replacing any other items, except replacing his 3rd brake light.

Funny you all just mentioned these options. I was just thumbing through this about an hour ago (while waiting on my bbq ribs to finish) to see what the cost of several new bumpers was. Smooth and diesel with fog lights was two of those I looked at. If I didn’t already have the new impact strip, new license bracket, and new valence I might be tempted.

Plus, truth be told, my bumper is pretty clean already. Here it is as it sits right now. The new impact strip is actually on the way from LMC. I have everything else. I went ahead and took off the bumper and stripped her down and buffed it out while repairing the grill tab.
