The Hellas are great for rural roads at night but they can't be run all the time and the existing low beams on this truck were beyond awful, so an upgrade was needed.

Low beams: GTR 4300k HIDs/NHK Fast Bright 55w Ballasts
High beams: XenonDepot Xtreme 2800k LEDs

Hardwired 4-Hi mod with two relays hidden underneath PCM. Hellas are on Relay 1, temporarily tied to high beams. Relay 2 provides a 12v signal for the low beams when the high beams are on, with a capacitor to prevent flicker when changing high/low. Relay 3 keeps the higher current load of the HIDs off the factory wiring and headlight switch. With this setup the headlight switch is only powering relay coils and the LED high beams.

Nice progress! Get those running boards off yet lol?
Not yet. Trying to find some bed access nfab bars, might have to cut down a set for a CCLB.

I did replace the non-AC clutch fan, get the winch installed, and start to put on the topkick handles though...
