Okay, so for the passed week i’ve been through the process of elimination on trying to get rid of a death wobble while braking. So far in the passed week i’ve done pads, rotors, calipers, drums, shoes, and still no luck. I replaced all ball joints and bushings along with tie rods and there seems to be no play. At this point I’ve run out of ideas so any input would greatly be appreciated.

I did a recent brake job on an 03 Tacoma. On freeway, I had steering wheel shaking and when braking mega thumping. It was the brand new rear drums. Returned and put another set on…it was worse. They were out of round and out of balance. Put the OEM drums back on as is and problem solved.
What brand parts did you use, specifically the drums and rotors?

It's not uncommon to have to have new drums and/or rotors turned before installing them. If you had the wobble before you changed out all the parts and now you still have it you may have a tire problem. Rotate your tires and see if the wobble changes from the front to the rear

A properly affixed dial indicator might be able to tell you if there's any warp in the rotors. Maybe you could flip the drums around and check them as well?

All mating surfaces clean between hub, rotor/drum, and wheel? Death wobble as in brakes pulsating or shaking in the steering and suspension components? How's your front end alignment after changing out suspension components?

The brakes pulsate a lot less after calipers but still does the wobble, all the surfaces were cleaned, and as far as alignment i got aligned back in April after installing the lift kit, which I’m going to try one idea that seems obvious I didn’t think of. There’s a heim joint that connects from the steering drop to the front crossmember drop that was with the lift kit and i didn’t receive all of the pieces to install it so i just left it out. So my guess is the steering drop could be rocking back and fourth since it doesn’t have the heim joint to support it.
