I just installed a aux fan on my suburban. The one that goes in front of the condenser. (Some 400s came with them from the factory) By anychance does anybody know which way the fan supposed to spin? Clockwise or counter?
Reason I ask if because it feels like it's pushing air out the grill. I'm just making sure there not polarity sensitive... any help appreciated

My aux fan will freewheel when it's off and the radiator fan is operating (engine running of course). Maybe yours does too. Make note of the direction of rotation.

It should turn in the same direction when it's energized... only faster.

It should turn in the direction which would cut your finger off if you were to stick your finger into the energized fan.

It should be polarity sensitive. Might could tell by the shape of the blades. Do you have a decent picture?

Yes it's spins engine fan on and aux fan off. As far as spinning I need to test that. Totally didn't know that. I thought one fan sucks while other pushes.
