So its turning out that if the donor had RDL,. you have to incorporate that,. or work around it

I had this same problem. Its like they just over complicated it for no reason.

It's not over-complicated... There's only a ground on one side, the passenger switch powers and grounds through the driver switch, so if either switch is missing, the locks will not work. Cuts down on extra wires, I'm sure you can see why they did that lol.

i had to use a 6 wire relay,. now everything is working
it says the switches handle the reverse polarity but as soon as i wired the relay the locks started firing off from both switches fine
