Better not show my woman this .....or it will be added to "the list"!!!! Lol
That's cool....good work
Thanks!! It wasnt that bad. The canopy was $25 from walmart.com. I added a turn buckle to one of the other ends to pull it taut at 4 corners. Adds a bit of shade for the wifes plants. Between the cover, and all the crap needed to put it up, I'm out about a total of $100. That's not bad. Wife wants to add some water misters for when we sit out there. I may hang a Texaco sign on the pole instead of the airplane wind vane. The plus is that when this one deteriorates, I will see about using it for a template to make one out of canvas.

Got this at walmart $19.95. Son and I are building it. He wanted teal like my 94. I found a rustoleum flip flop teal/purple. Its sprayed over black base coat. It's got some pop. This has a 1995 up interior. Still working on a GMT400, this time I'm all 8 luggy.

Done minus decals. It's a really decent kit for a fairly new casting. I know I'm dating myself, all the stuff I used to build was 1960s, 1970s castings which needed work to make it all fit. Everything was in white plastic. Hot today, paint dried quickly.

I think if I use this rustoleum color shift paint again, i will use Testors high gloss clear over it. Rustoleum tends to dull slightly when it dries. Really cool effect though. It goes from metallic blue, to metallic teal to metallic purple. They have a few other color shifting colors.

Did a 2 week road trip with my son. Visited my older brother. He has an 87 GMC K5 (Blazer) for lack of what its name is. Truck was converted to carb, mechanical fuel pump, and TH350 before he got it. Well all the EFI junk was still in it. I helped him dewire all of it and un pin it at the LH bulkhead today. I head home tomorrow morning.

The Monte SS is some eye candy. He did a full frame off resto. I welded in a whole floor pan, and later on applied the stripe kit for him after it got back from the body shop. Car drives like its new.
