Yeah, it comes with a jumper that will give you 10K Ohms, Short out pins A - B (for "paper clip mode" or setting IAC), or leave it open.The one @PlayingWithTBI mentioned has a resistor on the cable. I think it is moveable as well on the USB end of the cord.
Yes, the 10K resistor is for TPI or some earlier TBIs but, GMt 400s don't use it. It'll cause higher Idle RPMs like @scott2093 mentioned.I dunno but the only GM ecm I talk to is a TPI w/MAF (Tuned Port Injection w/ Mass Air Flow [sensor]) so maybe I'm the weirdo that needs the resistor.
