Had my Emerald Green Metallic Suburban completely repainted and some minor dings fixed.

I'm biased, of course, but think it's a great color.

This is right after its last washing. Cleans up pretty good, I think.

Toyota white or Ford white without the toners. Both are very bright white, in the sun they almost hurt your eyes

I stayed with the factory Bahama blue on my 91. Like @fancyTBI said, quality job and clear followed by a top quality ceramic. Nobody believes it’s a factory GM color. Plus it’s a little easier to repair, when, you know… you get a little intimate with a parking ballard. My two cents anyway. Great job on your pick up.

Here is my 91, according to the sales brochure, it's Bahama blue as well. But I've heard it called different names depending on the year, same color, different name.

Sucks about the bullard, had a ****** hit my passenger side door a long time ago, still isn't fixed. But most people can't even see the dent, I think the color hides it well.

I've also heard it called "Brilliant Blue", I know GMC and Chevy use different names for the same color.
And sometimes, they use the same name on two different colors! Light Autumnwood Metallic is GMC pewter in '99, but apparently it's Chevy "gold" in '97.

Ya, brilliant blue metallic is one the other names I've come across.

Edit.....just checked the vin lookup that 1tonoffun ran, they call it sapphire blue metallic on there.

I’ll try and keep this short…. Ultimately choosing a color or graphic or whatever is obviously up to you and what you’ll be willing to look at for a while. My advise is to feel out the soul of your build. The gmt400 is a relatively box shaped body, compared to something, say more curvaceous, such as a late 30’s car up to the early 50’s. In my opinion, the latter being an excellent candidate for pearls, candies or details that rely on lighting shifts to “show off”. Ahem, ghost flames, etc. Whereas more square rides are better suited for graphics or metallics. Flat panels are great canvases for whatever you’re into, flames, pinstripes, racing stripes, lace. If you pickup landed in my driveway and I had to pick a color it would be dark metallic storm grey with twin matte black racing stripes outlined in a gloss black border maybe 1/4” thick. Of course that’s my perception. Take your time you’ll feel what’s perfect, you probably already have an idea what is.

Here’s a pic of my Plymouth, gloss black with violet pearl, Stunning in the sun, but I feel like the color would be cheated on a gmt400 with its more abrupt edges by comparison. What ever you do, show it off to us! We’re all waiting!

I am always partial to silver or pewter but I also like the dark blue of Indigo Blue.

The VIN number report that he ran for me, shows my truck as Light Autumnwood Metallic, code 55. The one I got from @Caman96 said the paint color was Rawhide Metallic, also code 55. So it's no wonder we're confused.....
