Dicked around with the OPS again. Applied some grease, inspected the terminals and they looked good to me. Custom Connector Kits sells a ton of Delphi weather pack connectors. I may end up de-pinning this one and installing another.
I can’t get it out of my head that this cropped up after I had the gauge cluster out when I was inspecting my ABS bulb. But I drove it several times after that and never noticed it. Could be a fluke. I know there’s a couple other posts on the subject so I need to look there.
Whenever I jiggled the connector the gauge jumped higher, about to the position I was expecting it to be. This weekend I will hook up my multimeter and ohm test the sender and then the IP.
