I found a digital dash on Facebook marketplace and I bought it because my gauges all are bad and off. It’s the intelletronix DP6007/DP6008. I found instructions online but they are not clear at all. I do not know what goes to what. Has anyone else done this before and can help with the wiring?

I have a 1996 k1500 5.7. I’m not sure on all the wiring because some colored wires aren’t even labeled on the instructions and it says I need a new speed sensor but doesn’t come with one. I’m not sure

Have you downloaded the factory service manual PDFs here in forum. There free. Sticky above, search in the eng section for links , download your year, if more than one get all . Section 8 all electrical, diagnostic, and complete circuit digrams .
A new sensor or " an XX model sensor must be installed compatible with new instrument cluster" ?

I was wondering about that too. I saw I need a temp and oil pressure sensor too. But do I also need a new speed sensor or gps tracking thing? I saw someone mention that

Very often the aftermarket gauge clusters require their own specific sending units as they may not be compatible with the factory parts. You're going to need more detailed info from the people that made the cluster you bought. If they tell you that you need different senders, they should be able to tell you WHICH ones to get, based on the other information you provide them - the model # of cluster you bought, the year, make, model of your vehicle - as well as the engine and transmission.

I'd never heard of that brand of cluster before but they're easy to find on the web:

And their installation guide for it:

You said it was a DP6007/DP6008 but I don't see anything about DP6008, only DP6007.

GPS input for the speedometer is an optional item that just makes it easier to get the correct reading regardless of your changes in tire size or axle ratio. Some people use GPS speedometer inputs for digital dashes in classic vehicle applications that don't have a swap that includes a transmission that already has an electronic VSS; in other words if they retained their older transmission with a cable driven speedometer (which predates anything GMT400, by the way; all of them used electronic speedometers)

Looking at it, I recall someone posted a comment on it, the dash and some 3D printed replacement items. A Month or two back.

Yea I found the sensors I need from the website. The temp and oil pressure but I’m confused on the instructions it doesn’t mention what to do with the other wires. It doesn’t label all color wires.
