I have a 98’ k1500. All I’m looking to do is fit some 33x12.5 wheels in there with no rub and I’m willing to do some trimming. Wanting to avoid lifting the truck to the sky and want to avoid destroying my front end and geometry just to fit some 33s? What’s the best options for me to achieve this
Thanks in advance!! Any ideas much appreciated.

Because then you can set it about 3” taller than stock without ruining your front end geometry and only have to do minimal trimming.

Or disregard my advice and crank the crap out of your t bars to get 3” of lift and ruin the geometry and cause extra front end wear.

Ps it’s the 12.5” wide wheels that will cause the need for lifting and trimming. A factory 7” wide wheel can clear a 33” without a lift. You also didn’t tell us which backspace your wheels are, that will effect this as well. Either way a 12.5” wide wheel will make it tight.

You can do it without lifting, but like the other guy said you have to be careful about wheel and tire width otherwise no amount of trimming will work. I have had two different sizes of 33 on my truck before I lifted it and it was fine, but I kept them tucked in with modest wheels and only had to do minor trimming.
