hey guys- newbie here. Lately my 91 c1500 has been acting weird. as I am going down the road it starts jerking. one time when i got to the stoplight the service engine light came on for like a millisecond but it has not come on again but it still jerks. any ideas? thanks much.
Well first things first.....what is the code the CEL is giving?
Second, what motor and trans, the more info about your truck the better, lots of combinations built.
That's the first piece of the puzzle.
I had something similar years ago on my 91, 5.7, turned out the distributor shaft was broken. Not saying that's your issue, just a possibility.
