Trans oil cooler leak

Does the top fitting that goes into the radiator take an oring or some sort of gasket? Mine is leaking and I vaguely remember it being different than the bottom fitting when I rebuilt the engine.

98 year model right? Should have an O-ring. Check radiator bore to see if it's stuck in there. It's designed to be put on the line end first. Upper and lower fittings should be the same on radiator

Make, model , year, the fittings are NOT the same on all years. Easier if you start with what you got .
