Former tire shop manager. If time is on your side,wash the tires well and hit them with your favorite tire dressing daily for a few days. As stupid as this sounds, do the tread too. Don't air them up until after this has been done. This will help soften the hardened rubber.

The day before wash the tread and spray straight bleach on the tread. This will remove the "greasy" from the tread and the bleach help to soften as well.

Then air up the tires while watching the dry rot cracks. Fill them to where you value your face more than a fully inflated tire.

Then drive a slow mile towards the tire shop. Stop and check the tires for heat and damage. If good, drive 3 miles at a reasonable speed and repeat. Then 5 and call it good unless there is a reason for concern.
