New news too me .. didn’t know they went that far back in the day to provide plug and play
All I know is that I had the orange and blue wires already provided taped up from factory at the firewall and at the bumper when I got my 99’ from California recently it never had a controller added but I added one manually and tied it into the necessary wires on both ends
