First one is Dads 1988 that he bought new in Wyoming to drive up to Alaska. He calls it old red, K2500 light duty, 350cid, 700r4. Took my driver test in it and it will be mine someday. He still owns it and I get to work on it.
Second is not shown. Grandpa - 1989 K2500 extended cab long bed, 454cid, TH400. Never would run right so it got named that. Sold to a GM mechanic and he gave up on it too.
Third is Eric the Red - 1996 K2500 Suburban, 350cid, 4L80e. Bought cheap from a volunteer fire dept. Fixed all its problems and drove it for years, was an off road monster. Sold when we bought an 07 Suburban, big mistake.
Fourth is the Grey Ghost - 2000 K3500 single cab long bed, 350cid, 4L80e. Bought cheap and rebuilt the top end. Drove it for year then sold it to a company who used it for a shop truck for years.
Fifth is Bid Red - 1994 K2500 Suburban, 454cid, 4L80e. Traded for electrical work and used for years. Had gremlins so I scrapped it and put the engine/transmission in a 74.
Sixth is Erica in tribute to Eric the Red - 1997 K2500 Suburban, 350cid, 4L80e, 411 swapped, true dual exhaust. After the 07 Suburban, two new Lincoln Navigators, and a 2018 Expedition, I was done with the new crap and went back to the OBS. New parts are too many to list. Motor rebuild and interior work in its future and I will post those.
