Since I can’t seem to be happy with anything I buy/trade I’ll save myself the hassle of making individual threads for my DD trucks/projects I accumulate

Last I posted I had a 2014 Z71. It was a nice truck sure but it sure had a LOT of issues that came to light after a month or two of ownership. So long story short it’s gone and now I’m back in another Duramax. 2005 LLY, got all sorts of goodies and surprisingly no issues other than inop cruise control.

This picture is garbage but you get the idea, and my favorite part. NO RUST.

Also my cheap Jeep. Had it about a month or two now and it’s been a great little backup car with AC and 4x4. Did complete tune up and new front end, not bad for a $1000 vehicle with clean title

Other than a messed up drivers door latch (fixed that today with a CSWorks repair panel) and a tendency to be a lot of fun to drive it’s a good little car. And only has 180k on it

Which brings me to my “lifetime project” my dad’s old 1972 C10, given to him by his dad and one day will be my sons. This picture was around 2016-2017 when it was still a 5lug 350 powered truck

This picture was last year, LS powered, 6 lug swapped, new interior, freshly painted, and just before the transmission started giving me issues. It developed a flared 1-2 shift that graduated to a 2-3 then 3-4 before it would hardly move. This summer me and my younger brother swapped it again and replaced all lines with AN and added a tru-cool cooler. I think next “big” project is a vintage air kit. Love this thing but it gets unbearable to drive probably 5-6 months out of the year. And I’d like to get it out more
