I know people have their preferred shock brand like they do their certain automotive parts store but, for me in every application possible I've used Monroe load-adjusting shocks. They just work for my builds in the way I design for. If I were to complain....holy F* it would be their half-a-human-lifespan-to-break-in bushings. They are quite for a few hours then squeak over every hump & bump like your great grandparents bed must have in the making of your....err, you know. It takes months to finally wear in & quite down. The last set of the coil over load adjusting shocks I put on one of my vehicles I greased them & the mounting bolts with non-petroleum-based grease. Smooth as a billionaires private jet runway.
