OH..BTW..I normally only buy & drive Fords! I know right, the Dark Side? Which is which i will leave up to you to decide..This Red K2500 came up for sale and I thought..what the heck..I havent owned any GM product in over 50 years (am I dating myself now) so now I will see what this beauty has to offer.
Time will tell soon enough if I F******* Up or not! Peace!

I thought the same thing. The timing is awfully coincidental and the buyer's name was also Mike.

No flames though. If I had that kind of cash, I might have done the same thing as my impulse control is not getting any better as I get older. At least it's a real tangible desirable item that would make me smile whenever I saw/drove it. There's worse ways to blow a lot of money in old age... casinos and hospitals come immediately to mind.

Yeah, no flames, I just thought it is a weird coincidence that a newbie joins and posts about his new to him K2500 suburban after I saw the sale on BAT. If I had the money, I would have bid on the truck in a heartbeat.

You didn't mess up, best GM truck ever built and I have had everything from the 50's to new. I saw the pictures on the auction site after you bought it. Phenomenal truck!

Thanks guys..I pick it up on Monday! Looking forward to driving it home. Once every thing checks out I will be taking it for a nice long break in trip to someplace doing the things i like to do. OH..I will post some pics of it once i have my hands on it. I don’t want to use the pics on the BaT sight because those are not mine, i guess I am kinda weird that way. Pease

I just re-read a bunch of the posts regarding this truck that I bought on BaT. One of the very first pics i will post will be a close up of the Brake pedal since that seems to be the determining proof some guys go by as to whether a truck is new or a rebuilt/restoration. I trust BaT or else i wouldn’t have ever bid on this truck. Did I get duped?? Ripped off?? Time will tell soon enough. Peace..
