Hey everyone,
I've got a 2000 ccsb project that I've been working on that's been cummins swapped.
There's a couple electrical issues, the main one being the gauge cluster. None of the gauges work correctly. The tach flutters randomly. The voltage doesnt display correctly Fuel goes past full when the truck is started. Oil pressure just does whatever it wants. Temp climbs on start up as normal as the truck warms up, but it doesnt stop and i know the truck isnt overheating. None of the backlighting works and the indicator lights stay on. When the indicator is on, all the gauges "flutter".
I tried a different gauge cluster, the only thing different was the "fluttering" stopped.
I'm thinking its a bad/missing ground but I'm not 100% sure. I'm pretty new to electrical so some guidance would be greatly appreciated!
