What @OBSOkie shared is from one of the .pdf versions of the General's Factory Service Manuals.
Thanks to hatzie & other members of the forum, if you go HERE you can find the links to the manuals
that match your vehicle and download them. If you are trying to operate a GMT400 to be reliable
enough that you can count on it as a DD, then having a set of these searchable .pdf files on hand
is by far the best plan of attack. Obviously they aren't 100% error-free, but they do help to eliminate
99% of the guesswork seen elsewhere on the interwebs. (!)
IMHO, this is one of the many features that help to make this forum as good as it is.
Set yourself up for success, dig into that issue, and when you figure out what the solution
is please be sure to come back and share what you discovered for the benefit of others
researching similar malfunctions.
