I'm Awesome
My 1992 k 1500 4x4 suburban with a 241 c transfer case is leaking and I can't afford the truck to be down since it is my daily driver. The 241c has a bolt on front drive shaft. I don't think my 241c has ever been rebuilt I would say it might be original if it is it's got over half a million miles on it. I have owned this truck for 19 out of the 32 years and never cracked open the transfer case to rebuild it.
I found a 1995 k 1500 4x4 suburban with a 241 GM transfer case (which I personally have never seen, or I've only have seen the C) with the upgraded u-joint front drive shaft.
Can I just swap everything out it seems to me that I can since I was messing around in the junkyard with with a 94 that was also in the same row and what is the difference between the 241c and a 241 gm?
Any information would be helpful I appreciate all of you!
