    How were you able to tell that it was off by one or two splines? I really had trouble visualizing if I got it completely on the flat spot of the steering gear or not....hopefully i did on my 1st try

    Smart man! Thanks for the calculation to hp....yea 2hp is NOTHING to cool a big block especially while towing. Someone on here mentioned that those clutch fans can even output up to 9hp. So looks like im sold on the idea of goin back to the old school clutch fan

    I think you'll be fine doing one trip with it....and as others said, play it by ear in regards to how the vehicle reacts to the weight its towing....don't force it in gear or allow it to keep slipping in and out of gears. Also make sure the trans fluid and filter have recently been changed...

    No....i thought that at first cause most youtube videos are on the 7.4L VORTEC....but the 1994 k2500 is a TBI motor, therefore it is luckily much easier to access on the front driver's side of the motor
